For me, connecting people and helping them relate is an important job in a world of fleeting connections. My life is a patchwork quilt of photo editing, writing, video editing and more. I spent six years as a Photo Editor at National Geographic. I wrote and photo edited for the Proof photography blog and curate the Found archival Tumblr.
In 2010, I recieved my Master’s degree in Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. It was there that I learned how to harness the power of stills, audio and video to tell great stories.
I currently live in a Washington D.C. rowhouse with my two orange cats, Donald and Harry.
